2015
In 2015, Seed Digital Media completed its first full year as a member of the Nordic Morning Group. Although the year was financially challenging, we acquired new and interesting customers.
The benefits of combining traditional business with digitalization are clearly illustrated by our achievements in areas such as the utilization of location data and in-store analytics in brick-and-mortar stores. Consumers are increasingly buying things online, but a large proportion of purchases are still made in physical stores.
Customer movements in online stores can be tracked and analyzed with great accuracy, and similar data can now also be utilized in physical stores.
The fastest growth among Seed’s services in 2015 was seen in the upsurge of store analytics in loyalty marketing. Measuring and analyzing in-store consumer behavior makes it possible to monitor the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns even in real time. This represents a significant step forward for the retail sector.
