Sitrus Agency

Sitrus is a new kind of content agency. We help brands have impact by planning, creating and distributing relevant content across the entire customer journey. We specialize in content strategy, concepts, production and distribution.

Sitrus was created in 2015 when advertising agency Citat and content agency JG Communication were merged. Sitrus operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Sitrus works with a diverse range of customers, from B2B and B2C companies to public sector and not-for-profit organizations. Organizations face big challenges in creating consistent communication through all touch points along the customer journey. We help our clients to create a content strategy for them so that they can share their messages consistently. We also provide insights & analytics, conceptual planning, curation, production and distribution of content.

Our vision is “content at the heart of every brand”. We believe in the power of content to drive business, and that all brands should put content at the heart of their communication.

Our goal is to position ourselves as a strategic partner to existing and new clients. Our focus on conceptual development will be the bridge between strategy and production.

2015

The market was strong in Sweden during 2015. There seems to be a shift in how companies allocate their budgets – they are realising they need to invest more in their own channels, and in content. Some companies have a clear strategy to ensure content is handled in-house, while others are committed to outsourcing content production and distribution.

The launch of the Sitrus brand was our most important achievement of the year. We also launched Sitrus Oy in Finland, which really strengthened our Nordic presence.

Our client base grew considerably within strategy and concepts, and we were also nominated for five awards.

Content strategy, analytics and social media were our fastest-growing offerings. We continued our thought-leadership drive by speaking at key industry events in Stockholm (SIME) and Helsinki (Marketing Week).

Internally, we focused on competence development. We started Content Academy, conducted leadership training and coaching for group managers, and held learning lunches for employees.

2016

Year 2016 will be an important year for Sitrus. We predict continued high demand for content and social media strategy, as well as content production. We also expect growing interest in analytics and insights – so much so that we have started a new Insights and Analytics department.

Our biggest challenge is also our biggest opportunity, and that is to continue to grow in content strategy and conceptual development. To do that, we need to keep developing talent internally, as well as recruit externally.

We also see great opportunities for increased collaboration within the Nordic Morning group – our offering complements those of our sister companies.
